Severe Storms Trigger Flood Warnings Across Georgia

The National Weather Service issued multiple severe thunderstorm warnings and flood advisories as a powerful storm system moved across Georgia, bringing wind gusts up to 60 mph and rainfall of 2‑3 inches in many areas. In the southwest, flood advisories covered Calhoun, Randolph and Terrell counties, with twenty communities including Cuthbert, Dawson and Morgan facing rising water and potential roof, siding and tree damage.
