Seville Council endorses honor for Ceuta Local Police

The Governing Council of Mentions and Distinctions of the Seville City Council has approved a proposal to grant the City Medal to the Ceuta Local Police. The initiative, presented jointly by the SPPME-A union and the ACCPL association, seeks to recognize the officers' work at the southern border.

Proponents argue the distinction is necessary to highlight the professional dignity and commitment of agents operating in one of Spain's most sensitive geographic areas. The proposal now awaits final ratification by the Seville City Council Plenary.
