Seydişehir Municipality to develop new recreation area at Gökçehüyük Dam

Seydişehir Municipality is developing a new recreation area around the Gökçehüyük Dam to enhance local tourism and social life. Mayor Hasan Ustaoğlu stated that the project includes renewing roads, lighting, and seating areas to transform the dam surroundings into a modern social space.

The project, named the Gökçehüyük Martyr Muhsin Kiremitçi Recreation Area, will feature walking paths, resting points, and picnic areas. Once completed, the site is expected to serve as a significant leisure and tourism center for both the Seydişehir district and the wider Konya region.
