Seyyed Mohammad Sadat warns of hybrid warfare and cultural infiltration
Seyyed Mohammad Sadat, head of the Islamic Propagation Coordination Council of Kurdistan, addressed crowds in Sanandaj regarding regional developments and the concept of hybrid warfare. He stated that adversaries have attempted to force the country into crisis and submission through a combination of unrest, assassinations of commanders and scientists, and targeting civilians.
Sadat emphasized the importance of understanding and combating cultural and ideological infiltration. He distinguished infiltration from mere entry, describing it as a process where external currents exploit societal gaps to gradually alter beliefs, decision-making, and structures. He called for formal training for officials and managers in areas such as enemy identification and the study of Western intellectual foundations.
Furthermore, Sadat highlighted the role of psychological warfare, noting that falsehoods are used to manipulate public perception. He pointed to the influence of modern media, cyberspace, and lifestyle changes as tools used by global powers to diminish geographic borders and exert cultural influence over younger generations.
