SFR expands fiber hardware lineup with new Wi-Fi 7 Box 10
SFR is expanding its fiber optic hardware lineup with the introduction of the Box 10. This new router features dual-band Wi-Fi 7 and supports speeds up to 2 Gb/s via GPON. It is positioned as a mid-range option between the existing Box 8 and the high-end Box 10+, which utilizes tri-band Wi-Fi 7, XGS-PON, and speeds up to 8 Gb/s.
While SFR has not officially confirmed the specific subscription plan or launch date for the Box 10, technical specifications suggest it may be integrated into the SFR Fibre Power offer to provide Wi-Fi 7 capabilities at a more accessible price point.
Separately, RED by SFR is promoting a no-commitment fiber offer priced at €22.99 per month. The base package provides up to 1 Gb/s symmetric speeds with Wi-Fi 5. Customers can upgrade to a Box 8 with Wi-Fi 6 for an additional €1 per month. The promotion includes reimbursements of up to €139 to cover activation and cancellation fees from previous providers.
