Shabwa Defense Forces launch military operation against Houthi positions
The Shabwa Defense Forces, supported by the Saba Axis Forces, launched a military operation titled ‘Arrows of Shabwa’ targeting Houthi militia positions and gatherings. The operation utilized heavy artillery and drone strikes in the Harib-Ain front, southeast of Marib province.
The offensive was a response to recent Houthi escalations, which included drone attacks on military sites belonging to the Third Brigade. These Houthi strikes resulted in the deaths of two soldiers, Jihad Fikri Mohammed Jumaiah and Mohammed Najib Muqbil Ali Abdullah, and left several others wounded.
Brigadier General Fawzi Hussein al-Saadi, Commander-in-Chief of the Shabwa Defense Forces, issued a statement mourning the fallen soldiers and emphasizing that the security and stability of Shabwa province is a ‘red line.’ He asserted that the losses would not deter the forces from their national duties to protect the region and that they remain prepared to respond to any further threats according to military necessity.
