Shah Rukh Khan celebrates 61st birthday and releases new film song

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 61st birthday on November 2, 2026. While he did not make his traditional balcony appearance at his Mumbai residence, Mannat, due to ongoing renovations, he connected with fans via a large LED screen displaying a handwritten message of gratitude.

To mark the occasion, the makers of his upcoming action thriller, ‘King’, released the film’s first single, ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’. The track features a reunion between Khan and Deepika Padukone and includes a musical collaboration between Indian singer Arijit Singh and international pop star Ed Sheeran, who provides an English rap. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Rani Mukerji, with a scheduled global release on December 24, 2026.

Large crowds of fans gathered outside Mannat to celebrate, prompting increased security measures in the Bandra area. Additionally, Khan was spotted at a private celebration at the Taj Hotel, where he acknowledged cheering supporters by waving and blowing kisses.
