Shake Inc. releases recruitment optimization reports for SMEs
Shake Inc., through its HRShaker service, has released a series of reports and a checklist aimed at improving recruitment outcomes for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Based on data from 107 companies, the findings suggest that recruitment failures often stem from poor planning regarding salary, exposure, and duration rather than the job descriptions themselves.
Key insights include the importance of matching regional salary standards, quantifying company strengths with hard numbers (such as paid leave usage rates or overtime hours), and ensuring sufficient exposure through a minimum of 20,000 impressions. The reports also highlight a significant gap in senior recruitment: approximately 33% of applicants drop out of web forms, suggesting that for certain sectors and age groups, providing a direct telephone number is a more effective conversion tool than digital forms.
Additionally, the company's analysis of 81 successful cases identifies four categories of effective recruitment messaging: environmental facts (e.g., air conditioning), proven achievements (e.g., specific overtime figures), structural transparency (e.g., wage calculation methods), and credibility (e.g., years in business).
