Shake Shack to expand into Brazil with 40 restaurants by 2036

American fast-food chain Shake Shack is preparing to enter the Brazilian market, with plans to open at least 40 restaurants by 2036. The expansion will be managed by Bold Hospitality Company, the group responsible for operating brands such as Outback and Abbraccio in the country.

The first Shake Shack location is scheduled to open in São Paulo during the first half of 2027. The brand intends to compete in the premium burger segment, focusing on high-quality ingredients and signature items like the ShackBurger, Chicken Shack, and frozen custard.
