Shakira sets Amazon Music record with Madrid concert and Dua Lipa duet

Shakira has set a new record on Amazon Music for the most-watched live music performance by a female artist following her concert in Madrid on October 3. The broadcast, which was available via Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch, featured a high-profile guest appearance by Dua Lipa. The two artists performed an acoustic version of Shakira’s 1995 classic “Antología” for an audience of over 50,000 people in person and a global digital audience.

The performance was part of Shakira’s “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” residency at the temporary “Shakira Stadium” within the Iberdrola Music complex in Madrid. Due to extraordinary ticket demand, the residency, which was originally scheduled for 12 shows, has been extended to include a 13th and final concert on October 12, coinciding with the Día de la Hispanidad.

Other artists who have appeared as guests during the Madrid residency include Laura Pausini, Alejandro Sanz, and Manuel Turizo. The tour has achieved significant commercial success, with reports noting it as one of the most profitable tours for a Hispanic artist.
