Shakira and Maluma announce new single ‘Agua’

Colombian artists Shakira and Maluma have announced their fourth musical collaboration, a single titled ‘Agua’, scheduled for release on September 17 across all digital platforms. The announcement was made via social media, accompanied by cover art featuring both artists dressed in white.

This marks their first collaboration in eight years, following previous successful tracks including ‘Chantaje’ and ‘Trap’ from 2017, and ‘Clandestino’ in 2018. The release coincides with Shakira’s upcoming musical activities, including a residency of twelve concerts in Madrid as part of her ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ tour.

Maluma is also currently promoting his seventh studio album, ‘Loco x volver’, and has indicated plans for a world tour starting in 2027.
