Shakira announces Madrid residency and new single with Maluma

Colombian superstar Shakira is launching a major cultural residency in Madrid, Spain, from September 18 to October 11, 2026. The residency, part of her ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour’, will feature 12 concerts at the Iberdrola Music venue.

Central to the event is ‘ES LATINA’, a multidisciplinary cultural platform curated by Shakira. This initiative includes ‘Macondo Park’, an ephemeral city inspired by Gabriel García Márquez, which will host gastronomy, fashion, literature, and art. Confirmed musical guests for the ES LATINA programming include Amaia, Nathy Peluso, Guitarricadelafuente, Lia Kali, Gale, and Aria Vega, among others.

In a separate musical announcement, Shakira and Maluma have revealed they will release a new collaborative single titled ‘Agua’ on September 17, 2026. This marks their fourth collaboration, following previous hits such as ‘Chantaje’, ‘Trap’, and ‘Clandestino’.
