Shakira concludes Madrid concert residency and meets Ghetto Kids

Colombian singer Shakira has concluded a historic 13-concert residency in Madrid as part of her ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour’. The residency featured a themed cultural space named ‘Macondo Park’ at the Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde, which hosted approximately 700,000 people during its operation.

Following the tour, Shakira held an impromptu meeting with the Ghetto Kids, a dance group from Uganda. The encounter, shared via social media, featured the singer teaching the dancers salsa fundamentals in Madrid. The connection between the artist and the group originated online after a viral choreography of their dance to her song ‘Dai Dai’ caught her attention, leading to their participation in both the 2026 World Cup final and the programming at Macondo Park.
