Shakira concludes Madrid concert residency with emotional finale

Colombian singer Shakira concluded her European tour leg with a final performance at Macondo Park in Madrid on October 12. The residency, part of her ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ world tour, consisted of 13 concerts that drew a total of over 700,000 attendees.

During the final show, which was attended by 55,000 people, Shakira delivered an emotional speech addressing her father's health issues and recent private challenges. She expressed gratitude to her fans for providing strength during difficult times and offered thanks to her former partner, Antonio de la Rúa, for his support.

The concert featured several high-profile guest appearances, including Maluma, who performed their collaboration ‘Agua’, and Bizarrap, who joined her for ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53’. Other performers included Laura Pausini, Dani Martín, and Beéle. The event concluded with a drone light show forming a wolf's head and the message ‘Gracias, Madrid’.
