Shakira performs residency in Madrid with guest Laura Pausini
Shakira is currently performing a concert residency in Madrid at Macondo Park. During her third show, Italian singer Laura Pausini joined her on stage as a special guest to perform the 1995 hit ‘Antología’ from Shakira’s album ‘Pies Descalzos’. Pausini expressed her long-standing admiration for the Colombian artist, noting they have known each other for 30 years.
The residency, which is scheduled to continue until October 11, is expected to have a significant economic impact on Madrid, with some estimates suggesting it could generate up to 200 million euros. The event has also drawn a large number of international tourists, with nearly half of the fans traveling from abroad.
While the performances have been largely successful, the singer reportedly expressed frustration during one show due to an audio failure. Separately, Shakira has shared details regarding her physical training routine, which includes strength training, cardio, and wakeboarding to maintain the fitness required for her professional demands.
