Shakira concludes Madrid concert residency with star-studded finale

Colombian singer Shakira is concluding her 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour' residency in Madrid. Her final concert at Macondo Park on October 12 is set to feature special guests including Bizarrap, Maluma, Beéle, and Dani Martín.

During a recent interview on the program 'La Revuelta' with David Broncano, Shakira shared that she uses Catalan with her children in Miami to maintain privacy and ensure they can communicate without being understood by others in public. She noted that she speaks more Catalan in Miami than she did while living in Catalonia.

The Madrid residency has also featured cultural elements, such as a celebration of the Barranquilla Carnival brought to Spain by a delegation of traditional performers. While the tour has seen massive digital success via Amazon, the addition of the final concert date has caused some frustration among fans who had already purchased tickets for the previously scheduled closing date.
