Shanling announces Q2 compact Hi-Fi portable music player

MUSIN has announced the release of the Shanling Q2, a compact, pocket-sized Hi-Fi portable music player. The device is scheduled for release on September 25, with pre-orders beginning September 18. It will be available in three colors: Smoke Grey, Moonlight Silver, and Twilight Orange.

Despite its small dimensions (80 x 50 x 13.5 mm) and lightweight design (83g), the Q2 features high-performance audio hardware, including four Cirrus Logic CS43131 DACs. It supports high-resolution audio formats, including PCM up to 768kHz/32bit and DSD512. The player includes both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, providing up to 425 mW of power at the 4.4mm connection.

The device utilizes the MTouchOS and features a 2.09-inch touchscreen. It also functions as both a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver via Bluetooth 5.2, supporting codecs such as LDAC, aptX HD, and AAC. For storage, it supports microSD cards up to 2TB. Battery life is estimated at approximately 13.5 hours for single-ended connections and 12.5 hours for balanced connections.
