Sharp Indonesia provides aid to earthquake victims in East Nusa Tenggara

Following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Nagekeo Regency in East Nusa Tenggara on August 15, 2026, PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia has launched a humanitarian aid initiative. In collaboration with Human Initiative, the company is providing assistance to 600 residents across the Reok, Manggarai, and Aesase districts.

The aid packages include ready-to-eat meals, bedding kits, basic food supplies, and personal hygiene kits to help meet the fundamental needs of those undergoing post-disaster recovery. Shinji Teraoka, President Director of PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia, stated that the support is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to contributing to Indonesia and addressing the challenges faced by those who have lost homes and property.
