Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom announced for home video

Aardman Animations' latest stop-motion feature, ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom’, is scheduled for home video release on January 26, 2027. GKIDS will distribute the film on Blu-ray and DVD, with digital availability through platforms such as Apple TV, Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.

The Halloween-themed adventure follows Shaun, who adopts the persona of a mad scientist after a scientific experiment goes wrong following the destruction of the flock’s pumpkin patch. The plot introduces a mysterious beast to the farm and involves familiar characters including the Farmer and Bitzer, alongside a new character, the Vet.

Directed toward family audiences, the film utilizes the signature claymation style of the franchise. The narrative is designed to provide light scares for children while including subtle nods to classic horror cinema for adult viewers.
