Shaun the Sheep: New Aardman film set for theatrical release

Aardman Animations is releasing a new film titled ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom’ (also referred to as ‘Spuk im Kürbisfeld’ in Austria). The story follows Shaun and his flock during Halloween at Mossy Bottom Farm.

After the farmer accidentally destroys the sheep's pumpkin patch, Shaun attempts a scientific experiment to regrow them. The experiment goes wrong when a hair-growth serum is used, leading to the farmer transforming into a hairy beast that causes mayhem in the woods. The film, which runs for 80 minutes, is rated for all ages.

In Austria, select cinema screenings begin on September 27, with a wide theatrical release scheduled for October 1.
