Shemar Moore announces SWAT Exiles season 2 renewal

Shemar Moore has announced that the Starz spinoff series ‘SWAT Exiles’ has been renewed for a second season ahead of its first season premiere. Moore shared the news via Instagram, noting that filming for the second season is expected to begin within a few months.

The series follows Sergeant Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson as he is pulled out of retirement to lead an experimental SWAT unit composed of untested and unpredictable recruits. The plot focuses on Hondo navigating generational divides and clashing personalities to transform the group into a capable team.

Season 1 is scheduled to premiere on September 25, 2026, exclusively on Starz. The production has received significant backing from Sony Pictures Television, which greenlit the initial 10-episode season prior to securing a network.
