Sherbeth Festival to host 60 global gelato masters in Palermo

The 18th edition of the Sherbeth Festival is scheduled to take place in Palermo from November 13 to 16, 2026. The event will bring together 60 master gelato makers from five continents, alongside chefs, researchers, and industry professionals.

This edition focuses on “Contemporary Artisanal Gelato,” aiming to combine technical expertise with scientific research and production responsibility. The festival features collaborations with the CNR-IBE (Institute for Bioeconomics of the National Research Council) and Massey University in New Zealand to bridge the gap between artisanal craftsmanship and scientific study.

His establishment, Pasticceria Gelateria Giuseppe Arena, received two cones at the Sigep in Rimini, highlighting his commitment to using seasonal, local Sicilian ingredients.
