Sheryl Crow to receive BMI Troubadour Award and release new album

Singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow is set to receive the BMI Troubadour Award on September 14th at a private event in Nashville. The award recognizes her profound impact on the American music landscape and her career as a prolific songwriter. Crow, a nine-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has sold over 50 million albums globally.

In addition to this recognition, Crow is preparing to release her 12th studio album, ‘Pick You Up’, scheduled for release on October 9 through Old Green Barn Productions LLC. The seven-song record, co-written with longtime collaborator Jeff Trott, returns to her rock and Americana roots. The album includes the track ‘Freedom Bus’, featuring Jesse Welles, which addresses themes of political division and the importance of civil discourse.
