Law enforcement agencies conduct training and community outreach in Croatia and Montenegro
Various law enforcement agencies across the Balkan region are conducting community engagement and professional training activities. In Croatia, the Ministry of the Interior organized the ‘Shield of the Homeland Dubrovnik 2026’ competition, a demanding event involving 83 participants. The contest required officers to navigate a 30-kilometer course with 10 kilograms of equipment, testing skills in weaponry, orienteering, and tactics. Participants included officers from Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, and North Macedonia.
Other regional activities include community outreach and commemorative events. In Cetinje, police held an open house to demonstrate equipment and strengthen public trust. In Pula, the Šime Buzov Memorial featured a motorcycle skill competition. Additionally, the Split-Dalmatia Police Administration conducted a blood donation drive, where a retired officer donated blood for the 94th time. In Požega, ceremonies were held to honor fallen officers and celebrate Police Day, highlighting the force's evolution to meet modern technological and security challenges.
