Shizuoka Prefecture to launch anime-themed digital stamp rally

Shizuoka Prefecture will launch a digital stamp rally starting November 6, 2026, to promote tourism and regional travel through collaboration with four popular anime series. The initiative utilizes locations featured in the series as part of the prefecture's official anime model site map.

The participating titles include ‘Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time’, ‘Laid-Back Camp’ (Yuru Camp△), ‘Chibi Maruko-chan’, and ‘Love Live! Sunshine!!’. Locations span various areas, such as Tenryu-Futamata Station in Hamamatsu City, the Fuji foothills, Shizuoka City’s Shimizu Ward, and the Uchiura district in Numazu.

Participants can join by downloading the official Shizuoka tourism app, ‘TIPS’, and scanning QR codes at 16 designated spots, including model sites and tourist facilities. The rally runs until February 28, 2027. Rewards vary based on the number of stamps collected, ranging from character AR images and original stickers to local specialty products and accommodation vouchers via lottery.
