Shogakukan to host manga art pop-up shop in Ginza

Shogakukan is hosting the ‘TOKYO MANGA BASE Shogakukan Original Art Festival’ at the Ginza Tsutaya Books GINZA ATRIUM from September 20 to September 29. The pop-up shop will feature over 100 original art items, including reproduction prints of popular series such as ‘Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End’ and ‘BANANA FISH’.

Special highlights include ‘metal canvas art’ from ‘BLACK LAGOON’ and a unique reproduction print inspired by Vermeer’s ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ created in collaboration with the Frieren series.

In a new initiative, select items will be available through the TOKYO MANGA BASE cross-border e-commerce service. This marks the first time reproduction prints will be sold to international customers via this platform, which currently serves ten countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Taiwan, and South Korea.
