Shokz launches OpenFit Air 2 and OpenRun Air 2 audio products

Shokz has announced the launch of two new open-ear audio products: the OpenFit Air 2 wireless earbuds and the OpenRun Air 2 bone conduction headphones. Both models are designed to allow users to remain aware of their surroundings while listening to audio, making them suitable for outdoor activities like running and cycling.

The OpenFit Air 2 features a lightweight earhook design, with each earbud weighing 7.2 grams. This model replaces touch controls with pressure-sensitive buttons to prevent accidental triggers from sweat or hair. It utilizes Bassphere dual-driver technology and OpenBass 2.0 algorithms to improve low-frequency response. The device offers up to eight hours of battery life per charge, with a total of 36 hours including the charging case, which is 10.5% smaller than its predecessor. It is IP55 rated for water and sweat resistance.

The OpenRun Air 2 is a bone conduction model that is 9% smaller than the previous generation. It offers up to 10 hours of battery life and features an IP67 rating for enhanced dust and water protection. It utilizes PremiumPitch 3.0 technology to deliver clearer mids and deeper bass. Both products are scheduled for release around August 27, with a starting price of approximately $130.
