Shonan Galleon wins Sapporo Nisai Stakes; Fast Network struggles in Centaur Stakes

In Japanese horse racing, Shonan Galleon secured a dominant victory in the 61st Sapporo Nisai Stakes (G3) at Sapporo Racecourse. Ridden by Katsuma Sameshima, the two-year-old horse won by six lengths with a time of 1:50.3, following heavy track conditions. Sameshima noted the horse's confidence and potential to compete in major future races.

Meanwhile, at Hanshin Racecourse, the Hong Kong-based horse Fast Network finished 15th in the Centaur Stakes (G2). Despite a strong start, the horse struggled in the final stretch, potentially due to a 28kg weight loss since its previous race. Trainer C. Ip stated that a decision regarding the horse's participation in the Sprinters Stakes will be made in the coming days after assessing its condition.
