Shooting Stars SC prepares in Tunisia for CS Sfaxien clash

Nigerian club Shooting Stars SC has arrived in Tunisia to prepare for their CAF Confederation Cup second-leg match against CS Sfaxien. Holding a 1-0 advantage from the first leg in Nigeria, the Oluyole Warriors are currently staying in Sousse and plan to travel to Sfax for the upcoming fixture.

The team utilized a beach recovery session to prepare for the challenge. However, tensions have arisen regarding training facilities. Shooting Stars Director of Football, Tobi Adepoju, noted that the club requested a natural grass pitch for training in Sfax and expressed a willingness to pay for its use, but was instead offered an artificial pitch.

Adepoju expressed a desire for better cooperation, pointing out that CS Sfaxien was permitted to train at the match venue during the first leg in Abeokuta. Despite these logistical concerns, the team is focused on protecting their narrow lead to secure qualification for the next stage.
