Shopper invests R$ 25 million in first distribution center outside São Paulo

Shopper is expanding its operations into Brazil's Midwest region with the opening of its first distribution center outside of São Paulo. Located in Brasília, the new facility represents an investment of R$ 25 million and will also serve orders in Goiânia.

The 7,000-square-meter facility is the company's fourth distribution center in the country. It is expected to employ over 600 people, with 260 vacancies already opened for August and September. By the end of the year, Shopper anticipates creating a total of 840 jobs through the distribution center and six new dark stores—four in Brasília and two in Goiânia.

CEO and co-founder Fábio Rodas stated that this expansion is part of a national growth plan aimed at reaching R$ 2 billion in revenue by 2027. The company will offer 24-hour deliveries in as little as 20 minutes via its ‘Shopper Now’ model. The regional catalog will include up to 13,000 products, featuring over 30 brands previously unavailable in the Federal District and Goiás.
