Shota Imanaga debuts new short hairstyle for 33rd birthday

Chicago Cubs pitcher Shota Imanaga shared photos on Instagram to celebrate his 33rd birthday on September 1. The posts revealed a significant change in his appearance, as he debuted a short hairstyle, moving away from his trademark long hair.

Imanaga included several photos in his update, including a comparison between his previous long hair and his new look, as well as a photo of the hair that had been cut. Fans and fellow players, including Boston Red Sox player Masataka Yoshida, reacted positively to the new style on social media.

Imanaga, a former member of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars and the 2023 World Baseball Classic Samurai Japan team, is currently in his third season with the Cubs.
