Shunsuke Michieda attends Busan International Film Festival

Shunsuke Michieda and Seira Anzai attended the opening ceremony red carpet of the 31st Busan International Film Festival in South Korea. The duo, along with director Kentaro Takemura, appeared to promote the film ‘Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki’, which has been selected for the festival’s ‘Open Cinema’ section.

Michieda, a member of Naniwa Danshi, made his first appearance at an overseas film festival. He wore a dark navy double-breasted suit, while Anzai wore a black long dress with a jacket. The event drew approximately 5,000 spectators, who greeted the actors with loud cheers and applause.

‘The overwhelming live cheers made it feel like it passed in a flash, but I had a lot of fun,’ Michieda remarked following the appearance. The film, a live-action adaptation of the manga by Mika Yamamori, is scheduled for a nationwide release in Japan on October 23.
