Shunsuke Michieda attends event for Prime Video film ‘M.I.S.S.I.O.N.’

Actors Shunsuke Michieda and Anna Ishii attended an event in Tokyo to celebrate the release of the Prime Video film ‘M.I.S.S.I.O.N. Kageki na Sennyu Sosakan’. The film follows an elite detective, played by Michieda, who goes undercover at an arts university disguised as a woman to investigate a drone bomb case.

During the event, Michieda discussed the intensity of his scenes, specifically noting how overwhelmed he felt by the power of Anna Ishii’s performance during a musical rehearsal scene. He recalled being shocked by a line delivered by Ishii’s character, which called him an ‘amateur.’ Ishii explained that her character’s dialogue was fueled by the humiliation of having her role taken away.

Other cast members, including Shiori Kubo, Nagisa Shibuya, and Ryusei Fukada, also participated in the discussion. Michieda shared that his group, Naniwa Danshi, performed the film’s theme song, ‘BLACK OUT MISSION,’ and joked about the possibility of his group members going undercover at a concert to surprise fans.
