Shyare Andrade advances in Miss Grand International 2026

Shyare Andrade, representing Ecuador in Miss Grand International 2026, is preparing for the national costume and preliminary competitions scheduled for October 7 in Thailand. Her national costume, designed by Steven Vera, is inspired by ‘Tsunki Nua’, a water and river deity from Shuar mythology. The outfit features emerald green tones and a snake-like structure to represent the connection between Amazonian women and nature.

Additionally, Andrade has reached the top two in the ‘Country’s Power of the Year’ digital competition, alongside the representative from Tanzania. The final voting phase for this title will run from October 8 to October 10 via the official Miss Grand International Instagram account. The winner of this competition receives an automatic pass to the Top 20 of the grand final. Scoring is primarily based on new followers gained through the voting post, accounting for 95% of the total score.
