Shyare Andrade, representing Ecuador, is competing in the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant held in Thailand. Andrade recently participated in the swimsuit competition at the Lebua at State Tower in Bangkok.

Andrade is currently vying for a direct spot in the Top 20 through the ‘Country’s Power of the Year’ digital competition. After placing second in the first stage, she has advanced to the second round as one of 40 remaining candidates. She is placed in Group B alongside representatives from Colombia, Cuba, France, Laos, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Romania, and Thailand. Only the top two contestants from each group will advance to the next stage.

The digital voting process, conducted via the official Miss Grand International Instagram account, remains open until September 30 at 17:00 Thailand time. The scoring system is based 95% on follower growth generated by the candidate's post and 5% on interactions, including likes, reposts, and comments. The pageant final is scheduled for October 10 in Thailand.
