Fort Boyard team led by Jérémy Frérot raises record €23,800 for charity

A special episode of Fort Boyard aired on 18 July 2026 on France 2 as part of the 37th season. The show introduced new host Cyril Féraud after Olivier Minne’s departure. The team, assembled by singer‑songwriter Jérémy Frérot, included singer Shy’m, épée fencer Manon Apithy‑Brunet, journalist Paul Larrouturou, former rugby player Nans Ducuing and an anonymous contestant, Thierry, a bank‑agency director from Essonne.

Competing for the Surfrider Foundation Europe, the group completed a series of challenges, securing multiple keys and winning a total of €23 800 for the charity – the highest amount raised by a single team since the 2015 Tony Parker‑Cameron team. Cyril Féraud praised the performance as a record not seen in eleven years.

Shy’m, who has participated in Fort Boyard three times, said the experience forced her to confront her fears of heights, claustrophobia and water, and announced it would be her final appearance, citing her age and emetophobia as reasons to quit future editions.
