SIAL Paris 2026 showcases Spanish seafood and Paraguayan chia

The SIAL Paris 2026 international food industry fair is serving as a strategic platform for various nations to promote their agricultural and processed food sectors.

ANFACO-CYTMA is representing the Spanish seafood and aquaculture industry, focusing on the competitiveness and innovation of canned fish and shellfish. With a presence supported by the Xunta de Galicia, more than 30 associated companies are showcasing their products to highlight Spain's productive and export capacity, particularly from the Galicia region.

Simultaneously, Paraguay is utilizing the event to expand its footprint in the European market, specifically highlighting chia production. Led by the Paraguayan Chamber of Chia Exporters (Capachía) and supported by Rediex, twelve national companies are exhibiting chia, sesame, peanuts, oils, and flours to establish new commercial links and strengthen international presence.
