SIATT demonstrates MAX 1. 2 AC anti-tank missile in Brazil
During Operação Formosa 2026, held in Formosa, Goiás, the Brazilian defense company SIATT conducted live-fire demonstrations of its MAX 1. 2 AC anti-tank guided missile. The system is being integrated into the Expeditionary Anti-Tank Missile System (SMACE) for the Brazilian Marine Corps.
The MAX 1. 2 AC is designed for precision and mobility across various platforms. SIATT has already delivered two lots of the system to the Brazilian Army, with ongoing production at its facility in Caçapava, São Paulo. For the Marine Corps, the SMACE utilizes a high-mobility 4x4 vehicle based on the GM Defense Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) platform. This configuration integrates missile launchers with drones for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and combat missions, providing a mobile capability against armored vehicles and vessels.
In addition to live-fire tests, SIATT presented an operational simulator for the MAX 1. 2 AC to facilitate controlled training for military personnel.
