SIC dominates Portuguese television ratings

SIC achieved absolute leadership in Portuguese television audiences on September 12, 2026, occupying the top four most-watched program slots of the day.

The station's performance was driven by its news and entertainment programming. ‘Jornal da Noite’ secured the first position with a 6.7% rating and 16.8% share, reaching approximately 665,600 viewers. This was followed by the entertainment program ‘Terra Nossa: Monforte,’ hosted by César Mourão, which earned a 6.0% rating.

Rounding out the top four were the interview program ‘Alta Definição,’ featuring Daniel Oliveira and Sara Barradas, and the ‘Primeiro Jornal,’ both recording 5.8% ratings. RTP1 held the fifth position with the contest ‘The Floor,’ which achieved a 5.2% rating.
