Siderno and Caulonia announce social assistance programs

The municipal administration of Siderno and the Social Territorial Area of Caulonia have announced three major social policy initiatives aimed at supporting people with disabilities and non-self-sufficient individuals.

The first initiative provides care allowances for people with severe disabilities and their families. Residents of the 19 municipalities within the area with a socio-sanitary ISEE below €50,000 (€65,000 for minors) are eligible. Monthly contributions of €1,000 are available for those with complex 24-hour care needs, while others with severe disabilities may receive €600 per month for 12 months. Applications must be submitted via PEC by November 14, 2026.

The second program, titled ‘Vita Indipendente – Reti per l’Autonomia’, supports adults with disabilities through personalized paths toward autonomy. This includes personal assistance, home automation, assistive technologies, and housing or co-housing solutions. Applications are due by November 13, 2026.

A third notice has been published by the Municipality of Siderno to identify beneficiaries for non-specialized personal assistance services, funded by the 2025 Poverty Fund, targeting non-self-sufficient individuals.
