Siegfried Marcus Automobile evaluates production in Turkey

Siegfried Marcus Automobile is conducting technical and commercial evaluations with potential production partners in Turkey. The company aims to establish an infrastructure for its Marcus 5 model, which will serve as a foundation for two subsequent vehicle models.

Selection criteria for the production site include manufacturing capacity, quality standards, supply chain, technical human resources, logistics, service infrastructure, and export access. Co-founder Özgür Baklan noted that this move represents a historic milestone, as it would be the first time a German passenger car brand establishes production in Turkey.

The Marcus 5, which has completed European type approval, has already seen its first units roll off the assembly line for non-European markets. The company also plans to develop distribution, dealership, and after-sales networks in tandem with its production expansion.
