Siemens Energy launches €1 bn share buyback tranche and raises FY‑2026 outlook

Siemens Energy announced the launch of a new share‑repurchase tranche worth up to €1 billion. The tranche is part of a €6 billion buy‑back programme that runs through the end of FY 2027/28, with total shareholder returns projected at €3.6 billion for FY 2025/26. Repurchased shares will mainly support employee‑compensation plans, and any excess will be cancelled.

The company also raised its fiscal‑2026 guidance, expanding the target range for comparable revenue growth to 14‑16 % (up from 11‑13 %) and widening the expected profit‑margin range to 12‑14 % (up from 10‑12 %). The upgrade reflects record orders for turbines and grid equipment, a strong increase in free cash flow, and sustained demand for power‑generation and transmission solutions, with limited impact from the war in the Middle East on order intake.
