Siena Palio 2026: Schedule for pre‑examination of 119 horses

The municipality of Siena announced the timetable for veterinary pre‑examinations of the 119 horses entered in the Palio di Siena scheduled for 2 July 2026. The inspections, required for admission to the regulated trials and the race, will take place on Monday 22 June, Tuesday 23 June and Wednesday 24 June at the Il Ceppo veterinary clinic in Monteresi, part of the comune of Monteriggioni.

Detailed hourly slots for each horse were published, covering the three‑day period from 06:00 to 20:00. The schedule lists each horse by name and the corresponding examination time, ensuring owners and riders can plan their preparations for the historic city race.
