Sigma film cleared for release with U/A certificate

The action-adventure film ‘Sigma’, directed by Jason Sanjay, has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification with a U/A certificate. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2.

Starring Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah, the plot follows a protagonist caught in a 500-crore drug and gambling racket who attempts to reclaim what he has lost through an ambitious heist. The cast also includes Sampath Raj, Raju Sundaram, and Shiv Pandit.

Director Jason Sanjay revealed that actor Dulquer Salmaan was an early choice for the lead role. While Salmaan was unable to commit due to scheduling conflicts, he provided valuable feedback during a lengthy discussion and supported the project by launching the film’s first single.
