Sigmund Romberg Centre launches new cinema programme in Belišće
On 16 June 2026 the Sigmund Romberg Centre in Belišće screened Dalija Dozet’s documentary *Lekcije mog tate*, the director’s first feature film about her father, accompanied by a discussion with her mother Mirela Dozet. The event marks the start of an initiative to establish a regular cinema programme at the centre, aiming to provide ongoing film screenings and strengthen the venue as a cultural hub.
Later that week, the town of Klanjec opened its summer cinema series with the family‑adventure film *Svadba*. The screening includes Croatian sign‑language interpretation and is designed to be inclusive for children, featuring a storyline about an autistic boy and his sister. Both events are part of a broader effort to promote local film culture in Croatia.
