Silesia Marathon reaches record 15,000 participants

The Silesia Marathon has reached a record-breaking 15,000 registered participants, the highest number in the event's history. Registration remains open until September 13 or until capacity is reached.

Scheduled for October 2–4, the event will expand into a three-day running festival. The program includes five different distances: a 5K run on Friday, a 10K run on Saturday, and the half marathon, full marathon, and a 50-kilometer ultramarathon on Sunday.

The marathon route will traverse several cities in Upper Silesia, including Chorzów, Katowice, Mysłowice, and Siemianowice Śląskie. Runners will pass through notable landmarks such as the center of Katowice, the Spodek area, and the historic Nikiszowiec district.
