Pan American Silver reports record $300M shareholder returns in Q2

Pan American Silver reported its second-quarter 2026 financial results, highlighted by a record $300 million returned to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases. The company generated $344 million in attributable free cash flow, driven by an average realized silver price of $70.97 per ounce, a 116% increase year-over-year.

Silver production reached 6.5 million attributable ounces, hitting the high end of the company's guidance. This performance was supported by strong results at the La Colorada project and the Juanicipio mine in Mexico, where the company holds a 44% interest. Total attributable revenue rose to $1.268 billion, up from $812 million in the previous year.

While silver performance was strong, gold production saw a decline to approximately 166,000 ounces, falling below the quarterly outlook. Consequently, the company has adjusted its full-year gold production guidance to the lower end of its previous range, citing lower-than-expected output at the Jacobina and El Peñón operations.
