Silver Prices Target $65 as Analysts Forecast Further Rise

Silver has broken above $60 per ounce and is trading near $62.9, with analysts highlighting $65 as a critical resistance level. A breach of $65 could open a path toward $70, $71.3 and $75, while support lies around $60.9 and $56.6 if prices fall.

JP Morgan Global Research projects the metal to average $81 per ounce in 2026, and Wall Street expects year‑end prices to hover between $70 and $80. The recent rally is aided by a weakening U.S. dollar and lower Treasury yields, while weak U.S. non‑farm payroll data has boosted buying. Supply‑side factors are mixed: growing demand from electric‑vehicle and AI hardware sectors is offset by solar‑panel manufacturers reducing silver use per cell.

Overall, the market views the $65 level as decisive for short‑term direction, with broader industrial trends and currency movements shaping longer‑term expectations.
