Silvio Rodríguez performs at Barcelona's Liceu

Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez performed at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, marking his return to the Catalan capital after a decade. The concert was attended by approximately 2,300 people.

Rodríguez performed a repertoire including ‘Historia de las sillas’, ‘Ala de colibrí’, and songs from his recent 2024 album ‘Quería saber’. He was accompanied by a musical ensemble that included his daughter, Malva, on keyboards.

The event also featured political undertones, as audience members shouted pro-Cuba slogans, contrasting with anti-Castro protesters located nearby on La Rambla.
