Public health and vocational training initiatives expand in Mexico and Argentina

Various regional health and social programs are implementing specialized training and certification initiatives across Latin America.

In Mexico, the Querétaro Health Secretariat is promoting healthy aging through specialized gerontological care and community support groups. Additionally, the Mexico City government has certified 235 childcare providers under the new Care System Law to professionalize early childhood development services. In Sinaloa, COEPRISS personnel received training on the management of biological-infectious hazardous waste to prevent sanitary risks.

In Argentina, the province of Tucumán is utilizing mobile workshops to provide free vocational training in bakery and pastry making to residents in Las Talitas. Furthermore, the provincial Ministry of Public Health held a management conference for nursing professionals to strengthen leadership and human talent development within the public health system.
